About Us
At Beehive we are committed to providing a friendly, structured environment, where your child will feel settled, secure and motivated to play and explore.
The children here benefit from an exciting range of activities inside and out. We are continually looking at new ways to capture their imaginations and to offer new experiences.
We are proud that at Beehive, our children are confident, happy and they build good relationships with their friends and the staff here.
We were rated as GOOD in our
Ofsted inspection (February 2018).

Our staff share a wealth of experience, knowledge and enthusiasm, helping our children to grow and develop in a safe and supportive environment. Many of our staff have been with us for over 10 years and their own children have attended Beehive.
Our School
We have our own premises (centrally located next to the Maidenhead Mosque) and parents may use our car park at drop off and pick up times. Our gardens at the front and rear provide excellent facilities, ensuring children get plenty of fresh air and exercise and the opportunity to explore the many resources on offer, including our fantastic pirate ship.
We are a registered charity and we are run by a parent committee. Our committee is dedicated to improving the facilities and the services we are able to offer each of the children who attend Beehive.
We are affiliated to the Early Years Alliance and adopt their guidelines of good practice for 'children learning through play' and 'active parent participation'.
As a pre-school for children aged between 2 and 5 years, we adhere to the standards of learning, set out by the early years foundation stage ( EYFS ) and the SEND (special educational needs and disability) code of practice. Further information can be found via the links below:
