1. Manager Position at Beehive Pre-school – Term Time Position (39 weeks + 5.6 weeks holiday pay)
We are recruiting for a Pre-school Manager - late autumn 2022 or January 2023 start (28 - to 37.5 hours per week on site)
Beehive Pre-school is a lovely community preschool in Maidenhead, Berkshire that has been running for over 40 years, with 24 full school day or 48 part time places. The preschool is open daily between 9.00 am and 3.00 pm for 38 weeks of the academic year. We are looking to appoint a Nursery Manager, working term time only in addition to 5 inset days, for up to 39.5 hours per week.
Hours: 4 or 5 days per week Monday – Friday from 8.30 am – 4.00 pm (28 - to 37.5 hours per week on site) in addition to 2 hours administration per week, for up to 39 weeks. Some flexibility with days and hours for the right candidate.
Annual Salary: A competitive salary dependent on qualifications and experience with 5.6 weeks annual holiday pay.
Start date: Ideally November/December 2022 but with flexibility for a January 2023 start.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate:
- A full and relevant Early Years level 3 qualification or relevant teaching experience in the Early Years sector
- Ideally have prior experience of leading and managing staff
- A sound knowledge of safeguarding, statutory and welfare requirements, and the SEND Code of Practice
- A thorough knowledge of the EYFS and experience in Early Years education and childcare
- To be passionate about providing high quality learning opportunities and experiences for young children
- The ability to develop a challenging and stimulating curriculum for children aged 2-4, supporting them on their learning journey
- Flexibility in working alongside senior colleagues in supporting the staff team with their own personal development and in building positive relationships with parents
- An eagerness to share ideas for the future development of Beehive Pre-school
- Excellent communication skills and a good level of computer literacy.
